Have you ever considered turning over an old leaf?
This piece was inspired by Balinese Prayer Flags, and created to express feelings about humanity, art, nature and spirituality. Seven 9ft high bamboo poles, with leaves which have been pressed, decorated and laminated, and so given a fresh lease of life with messages of hope and strength. Originally 'weathered' outdoors in 2008 at Norton Priory, they have been repaired and revitalised. Currently on exhibition at Melin Medi, Drefelin, Wales.
